MIWE establishes subsidiary in France

Arnstein / Eschau, May 2025 - MIWE Michael Wenz GmbH, one of the leading manufacturers of bakery ovens and proofing technology, has launched its own subsidiary in France: MIWE France. The aim is to manage sales and service activities directly within the market and to offer even better support to customers in France.

With MIWE France, the company is establishing a permanent presence on the ground - with its own team, dedicated premises and direct responsibility for the market. The new subsidiary replaces the previous model of working through local representatives, bringing greater continuity, reliability and closer collaboration.

For French customers, this means shorter response times, clearer points of contact and more direct communication. Technical consulting, project support and service operations can now be carried out more quickly and precisely - tailored to the specific needs of the local market.

The new subsidiary will be managed by Raphael Reppel, an experienced industry expert with a hands-on background and in-depth knowledge of the market. As a trained master baker with many years of sales experience, he understands both the needs of customers and the technical requirements - and has already worked closely with MIWE for several years.

Operations will initially be set up in Alsace Alongside building the team structure, the local range of services will also be expanded. The goal is to offer not only sales, but also support services such as planning, training and technical assistance directly in France. Close coordination with the headquarters in Arnstein will be maintained to ensure consistent quality and innovation.
