MIWE places great importance on vocational training quality. MIWE has been training apprentices since 1954, and is now a state-of-the-art training company with its own Training Centre. A first-class working environment and many benefits like overseas internships, introductory days, driver safety training and much more await you. Also, we have been able to offer almost all young people a job in our company after their training to date. Why not apply for a vocational training position with a future in the commercial, industrial or technical sector.
Are you looking for a vocational training position, but don't know what to expect? Do you want to know what the company that will be training you is like? Then see for yourself in our vocational training video:
Visit our annual Training Day and take a closer look at our wide range of training opportunities. Here, students not only receive comprehensive information and advice, but also a direct insight into the work and training life at MIWE. If, for example, you are interested in working as a mechatronics engineer, you have the opportunity to get a feel for the job with the help of an on-site welding robot. Or try your hand at storage logistics and test your skills at stacking crates and challenging estimation tasks.
The most important thing: the unique opportunity to get to know apprentices and trainers personally in a relaxed atmosphere - with plenty of opportunity for all your questions.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Training Day next year. The dates will be announced in good time on our website.
The MIWE Training Centre (MAZ) opened in 2017 offers you the opportunity to prepare for your career in state-of-the-art conditions. On roughly 500 m², the MAZ offers space for training in electronics, metalworking, welding processing and training. Besides computer work stations, it contains lathes, milling centres, drills, welding simulators, components for electronic pneumatics and hydraulics and much more. This means that we have created optimal conditions for industrial and technical vocational training courses. This support pays off, as several national award winners or chamber winners among MIWE's trainees prove.
For us, sustainable youth development means that we can offer cost-intensive training, which is also an important investment in the future for MIWE. After all, we hire most of our trainees. And even once you are hired, your career and our support do not stop. After they complete their training, many trainees complete advanced training, as masters, technicians, administration specialists, or college degrees via second chance education, and are employed as masters or managers in the company. We look forward to your application!
Note: Your application should contain the following documents: your personal letter of application, photos are welcome; your curriculum vitae and a copy of your last interim and annual evaluation reports.
