Four successful days of National-Restaurant-Association Show are behind the MIWE team. In May (after 3 years of pausing), the largest industry event focused on foodservice technology innovations was back.
For three days, the Arnstein MIWE live baking centre was filled with the smell of delicious crackers, sweet and fruity treats made from ancient grains and savoury snacks. MIWE invited experts to the MIWE expo from 15-17 May.

Just in time for Christmas this year, there was a special surprise in store for MIWE employees. As a little early present and to sweeten the (pre-)Christmas season, lots of handmade Stollen Christmas cakes made their way to all the employees.

Danish pastries and quark pastries in particular are quite demanding when it comes to baking technology. The filling should be wonderfully moist and rise beautifully – but without the fine layers of dough sticking together. In addition to "fluffy, airy and juicy", keeping the product as fresh as possible for as long as possible is also at the top of the list of requirements.
On the MIWE company premises in Arnstein, there are many trees that provide sanctuary for a number of different bird species. But this Golden Delicious apple tree, which grows and thrives wonderfully at this time of year, is one that we are particularly pleased about.
Major events such as trade fairs and conferences are still not permitted to be held live in most countries of the world. MIWE already took a creative approach last year and held German-language online trade fairs as well as an English-language virtual event this year. Thanks to the positive responses, the decision was quickly made to offer a permanently open virtual showroom.
Our baking oven and refrigeration technology is used all over the world. Over the past year, this has presented us with challenges that probably no one could have imagined just two years ago. But fortunately we have been able to rely on our nine subsidiaries and more than 50 sales agencies worldwide.
