A comprehensive software update has been released. Thanks to an expanded range of functions and broader product coverage, customers can now operate their bakery systems more efficiently and profitably, optimise their processes and analyse their workflows.
MIWE's digital offering has recently been significantly expanded. Since the beginning of February, the sbs:energy monitor has been available as part of the MIWE smart baking suite, among other features. The MIWE smart baking suite (sbs) enables MIWE customers all over the world to operate their distributed bakery systems (now no longer limited to in-store baking stations) even more efficiently and profitably, analyse their workflows and optimise many baking-related processes.
With the sbs:energy monitor, savings potential can now be identified even more effectively and energy costs reduced in a targeted way. The clear, intuitive dashboard provides an at-a-glance overview of the energy consumption of the connected system, not only as an overall total but also broken down in detail by different operating states. Various panels then offer analyses by time period, kilowatt-hours or costs, covering baking times, heating and cooling phases, baking readiness, Eco mode and much more. Customers therefore know exactly how long a baking station has been in operation, which baking program was used and what the baking times were - and what each of these factors cost them in detail.*
"Integrating the energy dashboard with its full range of functions into the MIWE smart baking suite is another important step in expanding our digital offering and helps our customers run their businesses more sustainably and profitably," says Eike Zuckschwerdt, CDO at MIWE. "MIWE sbs customers receive useful functional updates like this - especially in times of high energy costs - free of charge as part of the comprehensive management software."
In addition, the new update enables other systems to be networked, including the MIWE ideal, MIWE thermo-static, as well as bakery refrigeration and energy recovery systems. At the same time, security guidelines and features have been updated, and general usability and performance improvements have been implemented.
Further information on the new MIWE sbs:energiemonitor can also be found in our digital customer magazine MIWE impulse online.
(*Some functions require the bakery systems to be running the latest software).
