MIWE wins another award: Pascal Werder named top of his class by the Würzburg-Schweinfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK)

A major success for MIWE and its young talent: Pascal Werder, Technical Product Designer specialising in machinery and plant design and former MIWE apprentice, has been named "Kammersieger" by the Würzburg-Schweinfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) with an outstanding final score of 95%. The award ceremony took place on 23 October 2024 in Wiesentheid, where the best trainees from Mainfranken and their trainers were honoured for their outstanding achievements. Pascal Werder was accompanied by his trainer Heiko Gerhard, who is responsible for technical training in research and development at MIWE.

The award is a great honour for Pascal Werder, who successfully completed his training in February of this year. "The training at MIWE gave me a lot of technical knowledge, but also showed me what it means to work together as a team and support each other - this would not have been possible without MIWE and the training team. Earning the "Kammersieger" award as the top of my class is a great way to end this intense training period", he emphasised. In addition to the certificate from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the top-scoring graduate received a bonus from MIWE - a sign of appreciation for his high level of commitment and his excellent final grade on completion of his training.

MIWE continues its winning streak: over the past four years, three Technical Product Designers have been recognised as top performers by the Chamber. The company has also received the IHK quality seal for the sixth year in a row - an award given to training companies that produce at least one top-grade apprentice each year. "Our aim is to prepare the trainees for their professional future in the best possible way and to promote their individual strengths. The fact that Mr Werder was recognised as best in his class is a strong endorsement of our commitment and a great acknowledgement of both his performance and our training approach,” says Heiko Gerhard. “We’re also especially pleased that he’s now actively contributing to MIWE’s research and development team.”

The repeated awards emphasise the high quality of training at MIWE and the commitment to providing young specialists with the best possible support on their career path. The IHK certificates and quality seals displayed at the entrance to the MIWE training centre in Arnstein make this success visible - a clear sign of the recognition given to the achievements of both apprentices and their trainers.
