At MIWE, the quality of training is highly valued. MIWE has been training apprentices since 1954 and is now a state-of-the-art training company with its own training center. A first-class working environment and many benefits such as internships abroad, familiarization days, driver safety training and much more await you. Many good reasons for training with us.

As a family-run company, we do not see training and further education as a necessary evil, but as the most valuable investment in the future of our company. We permanently train 50-70 young people, almost all of whom are taken on by us
Eight highly motivated, specially trained instructors take care of you and your individual development
For practical industrial training, we maintain a training center in Arnstein covering over 500 square meters as well as an award-winning competence center in Meiningen
We organize familiarization days at the start of training and other events to strengthen the sense of togetherness among the trainees.
You can design company-wide projects and implement them under your own responsibility
We pay your travel costs to vocational school as well as book and photocopying fees, and we also provide work clothes for industrial trainees, including weekly cleaning. We also offer other free activities, such as driver safety training and the like.
As an international company, we offer internships abroad lasting several weeks
After your training, we not only offer a wide range of employment and promotion opportunities, but also provide targeted support for your individual further training

Our training day with plenty of room for all your questions

Visit our annual training day and take a closer look at our wide range of training opportunities. Not only will pupils receive comprehensive information and advice, they will also gain a direct insight into everyday work and training at MIWE. If you are interested in becoming a mechatronics technician, for example, you will have the chance to get a taste of the profession with the help of the welding robot. Or you can try your hand at warehouse logistics and test your skills by stacking boxes and performing tricky estimation tasks.

Probably the most important thing: the unique opportunity to get to know the trainees and trainers personally in a relaxed atmosphere - with plenty of room for all your questions.

MIWE Training Center (MAZ)

The MIWE Training Center (MAZ), which opened in 2017, offers you the opportunity to prepare for your professional life under state-of-the-art conditions. Covering an area of approx. 500 m², the MAZ offers teaching space for electronics, metalworking, welding and training.

In addition to computer workstations, there are lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, welding simulators, components for electronic pneumatics and hydraulics and much more. We have thus created the best possible conditions for industrial and technical training. This support pays off, as demonstrated by a number of MIWE trainees who have won state prizes or chamber awards.

Sustainable promotion of young talent

For us, the sustainable promotion of young talent means that we offer extensive training, which is also an important investment in the future for MIWE. After all, the vast majority of trainees are taken on. And even then, your career and our support do not stop.

After successfully completing their training, many trainees go on to further training to become master craftsmen, technicians, business administrators or to study for a second degree and are then employed as foremen or managers in the company. We look forward to receiving your application!
