Arnstein, February 2017. This year, MIWE will once again be an exhibitor at numerous trade fairs around the world. We started off the new year with the Sigep in Rimini (Italy), the Sirha in Lyon (France), and the FBK in Bern (Switzerland), which all took place at the same time at the end of January.
As in past years, there were again many visitors at the Sigep in Rimini this year. Numerous national and important international customers were at the trade fair to learn about innovations and proven successful products from MIWE. Visitors were especially interested in the deck oven MIWE ideal, the modular FreshFoodSystem MIWE cube, the all-rounder MIWE condo and probably the most economical rack oven in the world, the MIWE roll-in e+ 3.0 with its prize-winning "atmospheric baking" technology.
In Lyon at the Sirha, many visitors were interested in the latest generation of the MIWE roll-in e+. Products that are already very popular in the French market such as the MIWE econo, MIWE condo, MIWE ideal and the MIWE electro with loading technology were again in great demand. A significant point of attraction was the live baking demonstration with the well-known French baker and "Meilleur Ouvrier de France", Joël Defives, who displayed his master baking skills on a MIWE backcombi and amazed visitors with the quality of the products and the technology.
In 2017 our subsidiary MIWE Switzerland can look back on 25 years of success in the Swiss market. In Bern at the FBK we celebrated this anniversary together with the visitors. According to Swiss tradition, visitors were invited to the booth for an apéro in honour of the occasion. But this was not the only reason that the MIWE booth was very popular. The thermal-oil heated wagon oven MIWE thermo-static integro, which was there in a live demonstration, drew great interest and amazement from visitors. This resulted in agreements being made at the booth for trial installations of the MIWE thermo-static with stone slab system.
