The MIWE energy:check is an initial assessment of the energy status of your bakery using your business's data. The MIWE energy:check finds the hidden potential for energy savings in your business and shows you how to take advantage of these savings in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner.
What do I need to do to take part in a MIWE energy:check?
Set up a user account and fill out the questionnaire as fully and precisely as possible.

What information do I need to have on hand for a MIWE energy:check?
All of the data relating to your energy consumption and costs. This data, for example, could include the statements from your public utilities from the past year. Or the data about energy consumers in your bakery, such as ovens, freezer units, or crate washing machines.
How much time is required?
If you have the required data (such as energy users, costs, bakery surface areas, etc.) on hand, filling out the forms is a quick process. But please keep in mind that the process isn't something that can be completed in just a few minutes. After all, we want to provide you with reliable results. And that can only happen if the data you provide is accurate and complete. So we suggest that you take the time that you need.
Do I need to fill in all the data in a single session?
No.Once you have set up your user account, you can open the questionnaire as often as you wish and you may save the incomplete form at any time. What counts is that your data is accurate and complete when you're done. Once that's been accomplished, you can submit your completed questionnaire with a click of the mouse. And then you're done.
How much does the MIWE energy:check cost?
You will be invoiced 160 euro additional VAT for a MIWE energy:check. Unless you have received a free passport from us. The passport will include a 12-digit number.
After you enter this number as your gift certificate code, the MIWE energy:check will be free of charge. Are you interested in obtaining a free passport?

You are free to decide if and when you wish to invest in any energy savings measures. The MIWE energy:check will provide you with the basis to make decisions about which investments in energy savings measures will pay off.
